Dr. Thompson graduated with honors from the University of Miami in Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. Here, she subsequently earned her medical degree from their School of Medicine.
Dr. Thompson graduated with honors from the University of Miami in Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and a minor in anthropology and chemistry. Here, she subsequently earned her medical degree from their school of medicine. Dr. Thompson went on to complete a four-year residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at the Jackson Memorial Medical Center of the University of Miami, the final year of which she served as chief resident and was honored with numerous awards, including the Best Anatomic and Clinical Pathology Presentation Award.
